After an ever-growing fascination with Italy, and a passion for making pasta, I did what anyone would do…I moved to Italia!

I moved to Italy in May 2019 from Melbourne, Australia after quitting my digital marketing job in the beauty industry. My heart felt it belonged in the land of la dolce vita and so I decided to give into its whims. After living here for 4 years, it’s safe to say it’s even more firmly entrenched in Italy! Since moving, I’ve been learning ‘how to be Italian’. From exploring the country from south to north, working in agriturismi & wineries through the WWOOF program, winning a scholarship to the University of Gastronomic Sciences (cancelled thanks to COVID-19, but I hope to find my way there one day) to falling in love with a Piemontese boy, moving to Torino and getting through a global pandemic, it’s been a real journey! We currently live in the Eternal City and are having the time of our lives exploring Rome.

On my website you can find a range of Italian-style recipes inspired by the people I’ve met since living here. Each recipe comes with a story and guaranteed deliciousness! If you’re a lover of Italy, you can check out my travel blog section to help inspire your next trip. On my Instagram, I also run weekly live virtual tours with locals from different cities all around the country and also share them on my blog and YouTube channel.

Curious about Italian wine? I’m the co-creator of Italian Wine Tales – an online guide to help you confidently order Italian wine online or whilst traveling in Italy and visit the very best wineries around the country in style.

Want to explore hidden Italy with me? I host multiday tours with a big focus on food & wine in collaboration with Untold Italy. Each tour is a small group of 10 people max and designed to help you discover the Italy you’ve always dreamed about. I’m so excited to welcome you to my home region of Piedmont, as well as some of my favorite places in Umbria, Puglia, Tuscany, Sicily, and Liguria on those tours!
